About our church

Our story

Ngwerere Bread of Life Church is a branch of Bread of Life Church International, meeting at the Ngwerere Blessing Center in Lusaka. As part of a wider ministry committed to bringing tens of thousands into the Kingdom, our congregation is built on the same conviction that anchors the whole church family: that Jesus Christ is the Bread of Life, and that a life built on His Word will never go hungry.

We gather to worship, teach the Bible verse by verse, and pray for our community — reaching out to families across Ngwerere and the wider Lusaka area through devotions, discipleship, and practical care. 2026 is our Year of Mercy and Favour, and we're praying and working toward it together as a church family.

What we believe

We hold to the historic, evangelical Christian faith: one God in three persons, salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and the Bible as the inspired, authoritative Word of God for daily living. Our daily reading plan and sermons walk through Scripture systematically so that every member — new believer or lifelong Christian — grows deeper in the Word.

Our leadership

Ngwerere Bread of Life Church is led by Pastor Henry Banda, together with a team of ministry leaders committed to sound teaching, prayer, and shepherding the congregation with care. Ministry leader details are shared during services and on our Ministries page.
